Masterclass
Week 1: We’re going to talk about Assessment so that you can identify those gaps and close them.
Week 2: We’ll go over Phonemic Awareness. This is going to be pivotal for those students that haven’t mastered the pre-reading skills or the kids with dyslexia.
Week 3: We dive into phonics part 1 where you will learn the 6 basic patterns that will allow kids to read 70% of the words they come acorss
Week 4: We cover phonics part 2 where you will learn how to teach kids to break up really big words correctly and accurately.
Week 5 We look at Fluency and how to help kids read faster so that they can have more room to hold onto the meaning of the text they are reading.
Week 6: Your going to learn some powerful Vocabulary strategies that will not only help them understand more of what they are reading, but also prepare them later for the ACT and SAT.
Weeks 7 and 8: We cover Comprehension for fiction and non-fiction books.
